All day comfort is made possible through the lightweight performance of the Grillamid® TR-90 frame and next generation polymer Trivex® material found at the core of the NXT® lenses. Flexible nose and earpiece, means you'll hardly notice you're wearing them!

Trivex® is a next generation polymer that was originally developed for the US military. Amazingly lightweight, NXT® lenses have a high strength-to-weight ratio, delivering safety, impact protection and durability. NXT® lenses have superior anti-scratch properties and are optically superior to polycarbonate. Unlike traditional glass and CR39 lenses, which can break on impact, WINDSHIFT™ are designed to put up with the wear and tear of on-water activities.

Protection

Direct sunlight and blinding glare off the water can damage the eyes. That's why NXT® lenses have 100% blockage of UVA and UVB light and comply with stringent Australian standard AS/NZS 1067.1-2003, European standard EN1836:2005, Filter:2 and US standard ANSI Z80.3-2001. The wrap around design and unique lens geometries gives additional protection, cutting glare from all angles and alleviating eye fatigue.

Polarised

Polarization blocks the reflected glare from interfering with your vision, reducing eyestrain and giving you a crystal clear view of what's really ahead.

Amber lenses

The colour of a lens is a critical component that filters light enhancing contrast, colour and definition. Amber lenses selectively filter out blue light giving increased clarity and visual depth, making it easier to pick gusts and obstacles out on the water, particularly in hazy or overcast weather conditions.

Photochromic

NXT® photochromic lenses respond to changing light conditions by adjusting the shade of the lens from lighter to darker. They maintain optical clarity in all light conditions, from full sun to low light, while protecting your eyes.

Hydrophobic treatment

The NXT® lenses are enhanced with hydrophobic treatment for increased visibility in wet conditions. The hydrophobic coating encourages water beading, giving you a visual edge over your opponents, whatever the conditions.
